All of the staff at CMS have been thinking about our students and their families these past few weeks. This is a very different and sometimes difficult situation we find ourselves in. We hope that by working together, we can continue to move education forward.
Your child’s teachers have been busy developing recourses to support home learning opportunities for our students. The Department of Education and Early Childhood Development (EECD) released details today regarding what home learning will look like.
Teachers across the province will begin rolling out home learning plans. Please revisit our school website on Monday, April 6th. This is when our Home Learning tab on this website will become active and will direct you to learning materials for your child.
By now, most homes would have been contacted via phone by one of their child’s teachers to see if technology for learning is a barrier. If this is the case, they will be working closely with you over the next little while on the best way to move forward with home learning in your household.
