SCHEDULE and DETAILS for PICK-UP of ITEMS from SCHOOL:

Attached is the ONE DAY schedule for personal student items to be picked up from CMS. The pick-up day will be MONDAY, MAY 4th and APPOINTMENT TIMES are based on students’ last name. It is very important that appointment times be honoured so we can manage social distancing norms. Please don’t ask to have your appointment time changed. If there are major concerns, email angela.young@nbed.nb.ca.

ENTERING: All parents/students are asked to enter by the main gymnasium entrance. This is on the East side of the building. Use the far left-side door to gain entry. We ask that you read the screening questions prior to entering the building. You will need to sanitize your hands using the hand sanitizer available at the entrance prior to entering the gymnasium to collect your child’s belongings. Once in the gymnasium, look for your child’s homeroom number (5E, 5FI, 6E, 6FI, 7E, 7FI, 8EA, 8EA, 8FI) and proceed to that area, where you will be able to collect your child’s pre-bagged belongings.

RETURNING SCHOOL PROPERTY: Since students are ultimately responsible for paying for any lost/stolen/damaged school property, we strongly recommend that if they return any borrowed sports uniforms/shorts, textbooks, classroom or general library books on May 4th. If students choose to hold on to those items, they must be returned in good condition in the fall; if damaged or unaccounted for, we will need to issue a bill for reimbursement. There will be a table set up at the entrance for you to drop off school items.

COLLECTING TRIP REPAYMENTS and/or YEARBOOK MONEY: Any students in grades 7 and 8 that made payments towards the year-end trip will be able to pick up their reimbursement cheque prior to leaving the building. Those students who paid for their yearbook will be able to collect their money as well. Look for the distribution table on your way out.

LEAVING: Parents/students must leave the building through the opposite doors (on your left side on the way out).

NOTE: Physical distancing (minimum of 6ft) must be practiced at all times while in the parking lot and building. If you have face masks, we invite you to wear them.
