English reading work for 5, 6, 7 & 8 FI classes for the week of April 20

Posted: April 20, 2020

Due Date:

Monday, April 20, 2020

Try to read up to 30 minutes each day this week(you can break it up into smaller times if it helps...like twice for 15 minutes).  I have recieved one completed reading letter so far, yay!   This week, even if you are not finished your novel, I would love to hear what you are reading in an email. (My email address is: christina.savoy@nbed.nb.ca) Tell me the title, who the author is, how many pages it has, what page you are on and what do you think about it so far.  Just a few sentences like this:

I am currently reading Donut Go Breaking My Heart by Suzanne Nelson.  The title is pun-y (pun: a play on words- they use the word donut because it is about a donut shop, instead of do not) which I love! It fits in with my second last novel (an ebook) that was about a mystery whose main character worked in a pastry bakery. Hmmm...I see a theme developing here! I only started last night so I am only on chapter 2.  It has 270 pages, but the words and spaces are bigger so it is not overwhelming.

Happy reading!
