I want to take this time to wish everyone a Happy New Year 2022 and I hope to see you soon.

However, until that time, we will be meeting on Teams according to the following schedule:

7/8FI : 10:30 from Monday to Friday

6/7FI: 1:00 from Monday to Friday

5FI: 1:45 on Monday, Wednesday and Friday

It would be important that you take time each day to practice your time tables, either through https://xtramath.org/#/signin/teacher_other (I will add this website on Teams for easy access) in which I had sent home with the students that need it an introduction letter along with the passwords, or they can do it on paper.

If you have any questions or concerns, I can be reached by email at chantal.desjardins@nbed.nb.ca or you can send me a message through Teams.

The work packages are available to be picked up at school this afternoon as per messages posted by Mr Graham.

Hope everyone is doing well.  I just want to remind everyone that most of the work is done through Teams.  However, if anyone would rather have the paper base package, please let me know, we can arranged for you to pick it up at school.  There is also work/activities students can do on Netmath.  The passwords are the same as their nbss login.  If students forgot it, please contact myself or their homeroom teacher.

Daily calls are continuing for both classes on Teams; 10:30 for 7/8FI math and 1:30 for 6/7FI math.  I want to thank the students who have passed in their work.  I've been doing corrections every day and returning their work.  Keep it up!

Hope to be together soon!

If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact me through Teams or by email at chantal.desjardins@nbed.nb.ca

You may have noticed that I posted some worksheets.  These are available to be picked up at school if you are unable to print them.  They will also be posted on Teams.  We have a daily scheduled meeting on Teams at 10:30 for the 7/8FI and at 1:30 for the 6/7FI.  If you do not have access to Teams, please contact me by email at chantal.desjardins@nbed.nb.ca

Netmath is also available to you.

Hope to see you soon :)

I have posted new work in Math on Teams.  If you do not have access to Teams, packages are available to be picked up, including some French, ELA and Health.  Please let me know through Teams or by email at chantal.desjardins@nbed.nb.ca and I'll make sure to get those ready for you to pick up.  They can also be found attached. Grade 6 math can work on "Nombres Entiers Positifs et Négatifs", the Grade 7 math can work on "Nombres Entiers - Addition et Soustraction", and the Grade 8 math can work on "Nombres Entiers - Multiplication et Division".  If the Grade 7's and 8's are struggling with their work, it might be a good idea to check out the Grade 6's work for a review.

Very anxious to see you all on Friday.  Please don't hesitate if you have any questions.

See you soon :)

If you could send me a message by email chantal.desjardins@nbed.nb.ca or on Teams (same username and password as last year, email me if you don't remember it) to let me know whether you have access to a tablet or computer and internet.

As for the work, you can continue practicing your times table using the game site I sent on Monday.  I've also included some worksheets.

Don't forget to keep active.  The PE Joe YouTube videos are fun and can be done as often as you want.

Hope to see you soon,

Stay safe :)

Hope all is going well, and everyone is staying healthy and safe.  You will find some math and literacy work available so you can continue with your learning.  As discussed last week, for up to grade 5 it is recommended to spend 1 hour per day plus 30 minutes of reading.

I am aware some or all of the students don’t remember their username and password, but for what I’ll be doing, you won’t need it for now.

If you have any questions or issues you can contact me by email at chantal.deshardins@nbed.nb.ca.  I will also be contacting you this week to see how things are going.

 I miss you… stay safe :)
